SILAS DEANE, CES, CAI, GRI Owner 

lives on the family farm near Owensboro, graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Agronomy and minors in Animal Science and Economics. Since 1965 Si has worked for the University of Kentucky, the United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Credit Service, as project manager for construction of The Summit, the region’s largest golf and residential club community, Deane Brokers and Auctioneers (a division of Century 21 Partners), and most recently as co-founder and now owner of Alliance Real Estate Auctions and Estate Specialists.

Since 1975 he has worked full time in the auction and real estate business, taking a short break to oversee construction of the Summit where he also served as director of real estate development and was responsible for over $3,600,000.00 in sales. Si has been actively involved in Creative Real Estate, is a graduate of the Graduate Realtors Institute, achieved a designation of Certified Sales Professional with the National Homebuilders Association. He has served as Chairman of the local Exchangers group, been awarded Owensboro Board of Realtors “Sales-Associate-of-the-Year”, and served on the Board of Directors of the Owensboro Board of Realtors and the Multiple Listing Service. He has achieved the auction profession’s highest designations in the Certified Auctioneer Institute and as a Certified Estate Specialist.

Si’s commitment to doing the best possible job for his clients is mirrored in his commitment to his community. He serves in service, teaching, and leadership positions in his church. He has served in the Red Cross, 20 years in the Volunteer Fire System working his way to the office of chief, is past president of the Daviess County Lions Club, and has worked with community youth. An active member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church, Si is a volunteer for the Ky. Southern Baptist Disaster Teams and worked 4 weeks with the Katrina hurricane response.  He has volunteered his time and equipment as a licensed pilot in disaster relief and in drug interdiction efforts. He is engaged in farming, owning an interest in 230 acres and has owned 23 single family homes and other real estate investments. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Owensboro Daviess County Regional Airport, and the Owensboro Community College Foundation Board, and serves on various Chamber of Commerce committees. Recently he has dedicated several weeks to medical mission trips into rural Nicarauga.
